Quick-frozen food

Quick-freezing, packaging, labelling and inspection of quick-frozen foodstuffs are harmonised at European level (Council Directive 89/108/EEC). Quick-frozen foodstuffs must be labelled as "quick-frozen" and indicate the batch identification.
